The relationships between State of Qatar and Sultanate of Oman characterized with well-established fraternal and the historical relations, which is appears through many inherited customs and traditions beside the rest of the factors represented by language, intermarriage, and brotherhood, the relations between the two countries have always formed a unique model to be emulated in relations between countries and peoples, the relations between Doha and Muscat are considered one of the strongest strategic relations between any two countries, despite the circumstances and tensions that the region has experienced during the past period.
Over the past decades, relations have witnessed broad developments to include all fields, and its continuing to grow and develop, thanks to the directives of the leadership of the two countries, His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his brother His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, “may God protect them,” to enhance what has been achieved and create broader horizons and opportunities for cooperation between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, in service of their common interests.
The recent visit of His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the Sultanate of Oman comes within the framework of mutual visits by the leaders of the two countries, which contributed greatly to advancing cooperation, and strengthening the relations between the two countries, which is characterized by stability, constancy and prosperity.
As an ambassador for my country in this generous country, I will strive with all my effort to strengthen relations to the greatest extent possible, and work to increase cooperation in all Fields whose results will be reflected on the two brotherly peoples, and I will devote my time to activating and translating the provisions of the signed agreements into a living reality, and work to find ways to create the desired spirit of integration between the two countries.
